Stormhawk Interceptor
The Stormhawk Interceptor is an air superiority fighter deployed by the Adeptus Astartes. A close cousin of the Stormtalon gunship, the Stormhawk is a highly specialized combat ship capable of both void and atmospheric flight. With thick frontal armor and heavy firepower, they are excellent aerial combatants, dashing through the clouds to take down target after target in a blazing display of overwhelming power.
Descending from the mag cradle of orbiting Astartes warships at incredible speed, Stormhawks are often deployed in the Vehemence Attack Pattern, with Stormhawk squadrons unleashing golden haloes of flares from their Infernum Halo Launchers to deflect incoming enemy fire. Stormhawk squadrons are launched directly into battle from mag-cradles in the canaverous slopes of orbiting warships. Whether dueling their enemies through boiling thunderclouds or hurtling between the crackling pylons of mountain-sized generatoriums, these high-flying battleships dominate the skies. Their frontal armor and massive firepower make them excellent dogfights, and it’s common to see squadrons of Stormhawks slice through the sky in vehement attack patterns, while enemies in their path shatter in a hurricane of gunfire.
The Stormhawk Interceptor is a heavily armed air superiority fighter and gunship, and its armament includes a wide array of weapons to engage both air and ground targets. The Stormhawk’s primary weapon is a ceiling-mounted laser cannon known as a las-talon, which fires two rapid bursts of laser energy, cleanly killing even the heaviest armored targets.
The aircraft is also armed with dual-linked assault cannons located under the tips of its wings and a set of dual-linked heavy bolters located between the wing-mounted engines and the fuselage.
The Stormhawk’s Las-talon can be replaced with an Icarus Stormcannon, and the dual-linked heavy bolters can be replaced with either a set of Skyhammer missile launchers or Typhoon missile launchers. The Stormhawk also comes equipped with armored Ceramite armor and an Infernum Halo launcher.
This multi-part plastic kit contains all the components necessary to assemble one Stormhawk Interceptor, ruler of the skies and destroyer of the Empire’s flying enemies. Armed with a dual-barreled assault cannon, a laser talon (which can be replaced with an Icarus assault cannon), dual-barreled heavy bolters (which can be replaced with either a Skyhammer rocket launcher or a Typhoon rocket launcher), and an Infernum Halo launcher. Supplied with a transfer sheet, a Citadel 120mm x 92mm Oval base and a flying stick.
This kit can also be used to assemble the Stormtalon Gunship.
